Use of Club Boats

Members have access to our Club boats. For details of how to become a member please visit our membership pages as there are a range of options available.

Thanks to a £24,000 Sports Wales Beactive grant we have invested in 4 new sailing dinghies in Aberdyfi - read all about it in the Cambrian news (28/07/22) here

We have a great fleet of sailing dinghies (currently x28) available to those paying a personal or club boat craft fee. The grant funded boats are priroritised for training. (*)

These include

  • 14 Toppers with 4.7 standard sails some with smaller sails 4.2m available - single handers
  • 3 RS Fevas with XD sails - double handers (*)
  • 3 GP14s complete with spinnaker - double handers
  • 4 Laser Radials some with smaller 4.7m sails available - single handers
  • 2 ILCA 6s (Laser Radials) with smaller 4.7m sails available - single handers (*)
  • 1 Wayfarer - double hander (*)
  • 1 RS Neo (training single harder) - single hander (*)

In addition we have 2 RIBs and 2 hard hulled safety boats available for Powerboat lessons and training.These are also used as Safety Craft.

All are maintained by club members and they can be an easy way to get you on the water if you are starting to learn.

Club boats have been known to win races!
