Glorious Easter Week On and Off the Water
What a start to the season!What a wonderful start to the 2022 Season.
A special "Welcome - Croeso" to all of our new members (sailing and social). We hope you will enjoy many happy years involvement with the Club.
The Clubhouse was left sparkling inside and out after the earlier working party which replicated the off season's completed boat preparations.
A busy Easter week of activities took place both on and off the water.
"On the Water"
A successful three day Junior Sailing event took place with a great time being had by all despite some frustrating lack of wind at times.
On Good Friday we held a Water Sports Fun Afternoon superbly led by Dovey Rowing Club and Let's SUP in addition to a Sea Swim. Definitely one to be repeated!
The Easter series was sailed from Saturday to Monday in some benign and challenging winds with all seven races run. Thank you to the strong turnout.
"Off the Water"
The Clubhouse and bar were open all week for members to enjoy.
On Saturday evening the Clubhouse was packed by all ages thanks to an excellent quiz night.
The Easter Sunday supper attracted 46 of you. We are delighted to have raised £130 for the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal via a raffle.
A huge thank you to all our volunteers who made the entire week and weekend a huge success. These events could not have run so successfully without you. We would encourage everyone to volunteer over the course of the season - every contribution counts!
